Polymechanic, as Service Technician for Crane Systems
Activities
- Independent execution of service and maintenance work on crane systems, creation of requirement, service reports and service records.
- Independent execution of repairs, renewals and conversions on crane systems and their components, advising the customer on technical questions on site, participation and fulfillment of on-call duty.
- Assembly of crane runways, power supplies and crane systems, commissioning and functional checks
- Checking the systems for regulations and safety aspects, informing the customer of special incidents and pointing out defective, safety-relevant important points.
- Participation in ordering spare parts and consumables.
- Participation in the maintenance of self-used production, operational and measuring equipment
- The work is carried out in close team and cross-departmental cooperation
- Independent work execution to ensure the required quality and functionality as well as self-control should be practiced
- The work must be carried out according to internal guidelines and instructions with optimal use of all available operating resources
- Participation and assistance in improving processes, e.g. work rationalization, etc. are expected (recognize, report and implement)
- Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including compliance with accident protection / environmental protection regulations, etc., as well as preventive measures.
Requirements
- Completed technical or mechanical basic training
- Knowledge in mechanics or electrical
- Freedom from dizziness (working at heights on crane systems)
- Professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility desirable
- High degree of initiative and sense of responsibility
- Driver's license category B or advantage category BE
