Legal Counsel Investment Funds

Our team is responsible for the legal support of Swisscanto funds, especially in the areas of fund distribution, non-traditional / alternative funds (real estate funds, private equity funds, review of non-traditional investment products, etc.) and investment foundations.

The tasks in this area are carried out in close cooperation with internal stakeholders, especially from asset management, Swisscanto fund management, and product management, as well as colleagues from other teams within Legal & Compliance.

• Clarification of fund law issues in connection with Swisscanto funds / Swisscanto investment foundations
• Review of alternative investment funds / high-risk collective capital investments – area of non-traditional investment products ("NTIP")
• Drafting and maintaining contracts and participating in the design of internal bank processes
• Legal support of fund projects (launches, fund contract amendments, etc.)
• Interface to asset management, fund management, product management, and point-of-sale

• University degree in law (MLaw), bar admission advantageous
• Broad knowledge and practical experience in collective investment law and contract law
• About 3-5 years of professional experience in legal asset management / collective capital investments
• Structured thinking, strong communication skills as well as resilience and punctuality
• Precise, solution-oriented, and independent working style
• Confident German; good English skills in spoken and written form
