About the job
Our institution has developed over time into a modern center for special education, which covers today's needs in the special and social pedagogical field with a diverse range of services. Around 240 people work in the areas of special school, boarding school, therapy, integrative special education measures, services, and administration.
In our nature-close school island in Gerlafingen, we teach and support students from kindergarten age to school leaving in a holistic and individual way. Our educational offer promotes academic, social, and personal development and creates a reliable framework for learning and growth.
To complement our team in the individual offer of needs level 3 («School Island») in the Gerlafingen SO area, we are looking for a class teacher SHP from August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

- Support Planning & Parent Work: You develop and review individual support goals and work closely with parents.
- Educational Leadership: You take on the professional leadership in the multiprofessional class team with 3–4 employees.
- Collaboration & Organization: You lead team meetings, actively participate in internal training sessions, and contribute your ideas.
