The Department of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich (www.vd.zh.ch) includes the Office for Labor, the Office for Economy, the Office for Mobility, as well as administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV). The General Secretariat is the staff unit of the Director and the service center of the Directorate. We employ around 1000 staff in various professional groups at over 20 locations in the Canton of Zurich. As an HR competence center, we professionally support our internal and external contacts in all HR matters.
Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic HR personality who enjoys contributing to operational HR work? Then you are right with us! We are looking for reinforcement for our HR Services team immediately or by arrangement, initially limited to 6 months.
Your tasks:
- Responsibility for personnel administration in your area with around 200 employees in cooperation with the responsible HR manager
- Handling all personnel administrative tasks throughout the entire employee lifecycle
- Supporting supervisors and employees with personnel administrative and social insurance-related questions
- Maintenance of various HR systems (SAP, time recording system, certificate tool, etc.) including master data maintenance
- Important role in preparing the monthly payroll
- Participation in the further development of our administrative HR processes
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience in personnel administration as well as training as an HR specialist with a federal diploma is an advantage
- Proficient use and maintenance of various HR systems (experience with SAP is an advantage)
- Ability to solve complex issues with a networked way of thinking and proactive contribution of ideas
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Service-oriented and responsible way of working
- Skillful use of decision-making scope as well as consulting quality and persuasiveness
- Team player with pragmatism, flexibility, and humor
