Job description
As a dietitian, your mission is to enable patients to maintain, recover, or improve their functional abilities and quality of life while considering ethical and deontological aspects.
Under the supervision of the team dietitian manager, you ensure the nutritional care of patients for the Psychiatry Department at the Belle-Idée site.
You apply Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and carry out your care according to the criteria of the nutritional care process.
You are responsible for regularly documenting patient records.
You are actively involved in managing hospital protein-energy malnutrition and metabolic diseases.
You collaborate in the training of students and health professionals.
You provide replacement for your colleague in other care units as needed.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a recognized and registered title by the Swiss Red Cross.
Experience and strong interest in mental health and psychiatry as well as clinical experience in an institutional setting are desired.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French is required. The ability to read scientific articles (including in English) is necessary.
Perfect command of common computer tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is essential.
Proven experience and strong interest in clinical nutrition in psychiatry.
Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly integrate into a new environment.
Strong listening skills, empathy, and a sense of teamwork in an interprofessional setting.
Intellectual and professional curiosity.
Ability to adopt a reflective attitude, promoting continuous professional development.
Autonomy in time management and organization.
