An excellent communicator, you are rigorous, organized, pragmatic, and autonomous. With a positive character, technically solution-oriented and possessing a good aesthetic sensitivity, you have a very good ability to synthesize and analyze, and know how to collaborate cross-functionally.
With a background as an engineer in mechanics, micromechanics, generalist or technician, you have at least 3-5 years of experience in project management in watch design, associated components or tooling, preferably with PTC CREO / Pro-Engineer software (or Solidworks, Catia, Inventor, etc.).
Join the Auctae team as a methods engineer
As a methods engineer at Auctae in Switzerland, within the BE – design and methods office – and supporting production and methods and industrialization, you:
- precisely define geometric, shape, orientation, and position tolerances: ISO GPS dimensioning (Geometric Product Specification);
- design tooling, machining clamps, positioning, assembly, polishing, etc.
- and take over the files;
- analyze drawings, sketches, concepts from the creation and product marketing departments by integrating technical, functional (feasibility, dimensional, etc.) and aesthetic constraints (respect for rendering and perceived quality);
- are responsible for the 3D design (CAD) of the Watch product and its associated casing components up to the production of plans;
- are in charge of the entire technical file;
- present design reviews and justify your choices;
- manage and monitor the realization of prototypes and support the industrialization of watches from prototyping to pre-series and series, planning and respecting business milestones according to the project, anticipating and alerting on deviations;
- are proactive in the continuous improvement of the design of new watches and their manufacturing by ensuring the updating of plans and technical data, and creating new models according to needs.
