Founded more than 160 years ago, the Providence Hospital is a private institution listed on the cantonal hospital list. Due to its medical specialties, the hospital is an essential partner of the canton of Neuchâtel for nephrology (cantonal mission in dialysis), ophthalmology, urology, gynecology, and orthopedics (80% of the cantonal activity). The hospital also has an orthopedic surgery department with a nephrology unit, radiology, as well as a medico-surgical on-call service. Job Description
Ensure patient reception within the operating room.
- Provide assistance with patient reception in ambulatory surgery, help with preoperative preparation
Support the recovery room for patient transfers and acts delegated by nurses in the recovery room.
- Work in pairs with the ambulatory surgery and recovery room nurses respecting their specifications (patient transfers, blood draws, monitoring vital signs, simple dressings, preparation of operated patients, postoperative monitoring according to protocols)
