To further develop our sales department, we are looking for an experienced Software Sales Manager (m/f/d) who combines market knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong customer orientation. In this responsible role, you will take on a central function in expanding existing customer relationships as well as acquiring new business partners and contribute significantly to the sustainable growth of the BISON Group.
WHAT YOU DO
- You systematically acquire new customer projects by proactively identifying market trends and potentials in target markets and developing strategies for effective approach and acquisition
- You are responsible for active, independent contact initiation (cold calling) via phone, social media, webinars, and personally at trade fairs and events
- You convince potential new customers of our entire solution portfolio (ERP and ESL solutions, Smart Retail, Consulting, BI solutions) and demonstrate the economic benefits of our solutions to the customer.
- You prepare offers and conduct contract negotiations through to conclusion by actively managing the entire sales cycle
- You regularly coordinate with your colleagues on product development and upselling potentials with existing customers and develop contemporary sales activities
- Timely maintenance of the CRM system and correct filing of offers, contracts, notes, etc. are also part of your duties
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales to medium and large companies with proven success in selling software solutions, ideally ERP, WWS, or related solutions for trade
- Your passion for high-tech and innovations in trade („how we will shop tomorrow“) helps you understand and advise our customers
- As a subsidiary of an agricultural group, we are pleased if you have a connection to agriculture, as we want to expand this area in Germany in the near future
- You are skilled in goal-oriented consulting, confident at the C-level, and adept at dealing with various decision-makers and long sales cycles, showing good perseverance and persuasiveness even in these
- Networking and strong communication skills characterize you
- You are willing to travel regularly but can also motivate and engage yourself well in the home office
