The Authority for the Protection of Minors and Adults APMA stands by people in difficulty. Those in need of help and support can count on APMA. Every day is different with us. Within the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a secure future for adults, families, children, and adolescents in need of protection.
For APMA Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch, we are looking immediately or by agreement for a jurist.
Tasks
- Support and advice to members of the authority as well as guardians in matters of substantive and formal law (law on the protection of minors and adults, matrimonial and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
- Independent processing of assigned procedures, including acts and transactions subject to consent (Art. 416 CC)
- Drafting decisions related to assigned procedures
- Actuarial activities for the authority
- Active collaboration in various project groups (e.g., defining practices, legislative revisions)
- Drafting minutes in case of hearings
What we expect from you
- University degree in law
- Professional experience, preferably at a law firm or court, and solid knowledge of private law
- Ability to handle stressful situations, autonomy, flexibility, and interdisciplinary thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written expression skills in German; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- Careful, efficient, and precise working method
- High service orientation and ability to work in a team within the interdisciplinary service
- Proven social skills and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
