The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet, and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our houses. Department Head Care and Nursing (80 - 100%)

Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You take over the professional, personnel, and organizational management of part of our residential groups
- You ensure that our residents receive high-quality, needs-based, and warm care and support
- You accompany and support our team leaders and employees appreciatively in their daily work and promote their development
- You are responsible for balanced deployment and resource planning and keep quality, humanity, and economy in balance
- You actively contribute your ideas and experiences and work together with the management team on the further development of our care and support area
- You actively participate in projects and organizational changes and help to further develop our operation in a future-oriented manner
Our requirements:
- You have several years of professional experience in inpatient care in Switzerland and know the everyday life in long-term care well
- You bring leadership experience and have completed appropriate further training
- You are a RAI-LTCF expert or supervisor and apply your knowledge confidently and practically
- You have further training in the field of dementia or a strong interest in this subject area
- You feel confident handling care documentation, IT systems, and MS Office
- You are a resilient, humorous personality who keeps an overview even in demanding situations
- You have high social, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- You lead empathetically, appreciatively, and at eye level
- You work structured, independently, and solution-oriented and enjoy making a difference together
