Introduction

Presentation
The Human Resources Service of UNIL provides significant support and professional expertise for all seven Faculties and the University Management. The Service consists of six divisions, including the human resources management division. This division is structured into four human resources management units responsible for HR management and consulting for the entire University of Lausanne. The Service reports directly to the UNIL Management.
To complement the management units, the Human Resources Service is looking for a 100% specialized HR manager.

Start date: January 1, 2026 or to be agreed
Contract duration: Permanent contract
Activity rate: 80% or 100%
Workplace: Château de Dorigny, UNIL Campus
Your Activities
You will be part of the human resources management unit for the Faculties of Arts, Social and Political Sciences, and Theology and Religious Studies. You will be a member of a dynamic team of 6 people. The unit's management includes an HR manager and an HR advisor. In collaboration with the team, you will carry out administrative HR management tasks related to the employee lifecycle. Responsibility areas are assigned to each team member. You will work in pairs or independently, aiming to contribute professionally to the positive resolution of situations.
The general tasks assigned to you are as follows:
- Ensure the administrative management and follow-up of personnel files in the assigned sector, including aspects related to remuneration,
- Collaborate with the team and the management of the human resources management unit in HR management activities,
- Support and inform internal and external UNIL entities or persons on issues related to HR administration and provide assistance in delivering all unit services,
- Participate in optimizing activities, processes, and services in the human resources management domain.

Your Profile
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in administrative HR management, ideally with experience in a public service, academic, or international organization;
- Required qualifications: Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification. HR manager certificate or equivalent qualification;
- Special skills: service orientation, excellent organization, listening and communication, autonomy and sense of responsibility, analytical and synthesis skills, rigor and precision, proactivity, team spirit and cooperation, ease of working in a network, flexibility;
- Excellent command of French and excellent proficiency in office tools (MS Office);
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
