Are you ready to become the go-to expert in a highly respected international consultancy that supports some of the biggest names in crop protection?</p></p><p>Our client, a major player in Regulatory Affairs and Scientific Research Consultancy, is looking for a <strong>Senior Residues Expert</strong> to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to take on a <strong>strategic leadership position</strong> where you’ll serve as the <strong>Subject Matter Expert</strong> for pesticide residues, mentoring junior colleagues and guiding clients with high-level expertise.</p></p><h3><strong>The Role:</strong></h3><ul><li>Serve as the company’s <strong>subject matter expert</strong> for pesticide residues and dietary safety within plant protection product regulation.</li><li>Provide <strong>strategic counsel</strong> to clients and internal colleagues on regulatory residue requirements in line with EU Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and associated guidance.</li><li>Oversee <strong>residue studies</strong> performed by CROs, covering both field trials and analytical phases, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Prepare and manage <strong>residue dossier sections</strong>, including: Data gap analyses, Registration/authorization reports, MRL and import tolerance applications</li><li>Evaluate <strong>MRL compliance</strong>, <strong>dietary exposure</strong>, and associated consumer safety risks.</li><li>Input residue data into <strong>IUCLID</strong> and conduct relevant literature searches using tools like <strong>Endnote</strong>.</li><li>Participate in <strong>pre-submission meetings</strong> with authorities and attend relevant industry events or conferences.</li></ul><h3> </h3><h3><strong>Who We’re Looking For</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>10+ years of experience</strong> in regulatory affairs with a strong focus on residues (preferably within a consultancy or CRO environment).</li><li>Sound understanding of <strong>EU pesticide regulation</strong>, particularly the regulatory frameworks around residues and dietary risk.</li><li>Experience managing CROs and interpreting residue study results.</li><li>Skilled in dossier preparation and familiar with IUCLID and modern literature tools.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.</li><li>Passion for mentoring, this role includes supporting the development of a junior colleague.</li></ul><h3><strong>Why Join?</strong></h3><p><strong>Be a Key Voice in a Global Team</strong></p><p>As the organisation’s subject matter expert on residues, you’ll shape strategy and mentor a talented, motivated colleague, making a real impact on project outcomes and future talent development.</p></p><p><strong>Work on High-Impact, International Projects</strong></p><p>The company is a trusted partner to leading players in the agricultural, chemical, and biocides industries.
