- Independent clarification of supervisory-relevant behavior of future and current guarantors as well as conducting related preliminary clarifications
- Conducting clarifications regarding supervised insurance intermediaries
- Reviewing and clarifying indications concerning activities of insurance intermediaries who operate without the necessary FINMA registration unlawfully.
- Co-shaping the practice for future guarantee requirements.
- Participation in the task force for insurance intermediaries and related work
- Drafting decision bases and representing proposals in decision-making bodies
- Drafting appealable orders and conducting related procedures
- Close cooperation with the FINMA departments responsible for supervision and licensing activities as well as the procedures department
- Co-responsibility for FINMA's cooperation with criminal authorities, especially legal assistance
- Completed master's degree in law from a Swiss university
- Bar admission or postgraduate training (e.g., CAS in compliance, financial market, or investigation area, LL.M.) is an advantage
- One to two years of professional experience in a supervised financial institution, a law firm, or a supervisory authority with very good knowledge in financial market law
- Interest in financial market law issues and developments
- Knowledge in the insurance sector or insurance mediation is an advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (in German) as well as very good knowledge of a second official language (Italian or French)
- Investigative and communicative skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
