What you will do here
- Ensure the smooth operation of the laboratories at BFH-TI Department of Automotive and Vehicle Technology in Vauffelin
- Supervise students in the Bachelor of Automotive and Vehicle Technology during lab experiments, projects, and bachelor theses. The students are 50:50 German- and French-speaking
- Support research projects at the Institute for Energy and Mobility Research (IEM) and realize prototypes (3D printing, electronics, measuring devices)
- Maintain, further develop, and optimize laboratory and testing facilities
- Ensure and be responsible for the smooth progress of practical work and projects in our laboratories
What you ideally bring with you
- Technical vocational training, for example as an automation technician, polymechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, or vehicle mechanic
- Further training or experience in the field of electric vehicles and high-voltage technology
- Practical experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, and electronics
- Responsible, independent, and team-oriented working style
- High flexibility and resilience in the laboratory and project environment
