About the job
Your tasks- • Operate high-pressure die-casting (HPDC) machines in accordance with standard procedures and safety regulations.
- • Ensure optimal machine performance and output by monitoring and adjusting production processes as needed.
- • Identify and resolve technical issues and disruptions within the assigned casting cell or system.
- • Conduct quality control inspections based on product-specific guidelines and document findings accurately.
- • Maintain cleanliness of the casting cells and equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- • Perform die changeover and setup activities as required in the production process.
- • Comply with all occupational health and safety regulations; take immediate action in case of deviations.
- • Adhere to 5S and Symbios workplace organization standards.
- • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals (e.g., 4DX objectives).
- • Other duties as assigned.
Your profile
- ▪ Completed technical vocational training (e.g., in metalworking, automotive mechanics, mechatronics, or a related field).
- ▪ Experience in high-pressure die-casting (HPDC) or similar industrial production environments.
- ▪ Solid understanding of foundry operations, quality assurance, and basic process engineering.
- ▪ Familiarity with machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- ▪ Previous experience in shift work and physically demanding roles.
- ▪ Additional qualifications (e.g., internal training in casting processes or quality systems) are an advantage.
- ▪ Experience working in team-based, process-driven manufacturing settings.
