About the job
We are looking for a committed host EFZ for our special location in Sissach starting April 1st or by arrangement.
Bloomell Coffeehouse stands for extraordinary breakfast and brunch moments, high-quality products, and an atmosphere where our guests feel completely welcome. For our location in Sissach, we are looking for a warm, independent personality with a host's heart who takes responsibility and enjoys when the house is lively.
Our location is in the historic Cheesmeyer building – the oldest department store in the canton of Baselland – and offers a beautiful working environment directly at the train station and the shopping street of Sissach. Here, culture, encounters, and gastronomy come together in a special way.
YOUR TASKS
- Attend to guests from welcome to farewell
- Service during the day business (opening hours: daily 09:00 – 17:00)
- Take over daily responsibility and coordinate service during the shift
- Prepare coffee and espresso drinks (Latte Art)
- Practical work throughout the entire operation
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed basic training as a restaurant specialist EFZ or comparable education
- Preferably between 25 and 40 years old
- Digitally savvy – many of our processes are digitized
- High social competence and joy in working with guests
- Resilience, independence, teamwork, and reliability
- Flexibility and good German skills
- Experience in the coffee sector and/or bar operation is an advantage
- Interest in culture and enjoyment in collaborating with the cultural association
- Willingness to work regularly on weekends and occasional evening events
