Contribute to electricity supply in Switzerland
You make the communicative difference for Swissgrid in French-speaking Switzerland. In this exciting role, you are responsible for promoting Swissgrid's communication in all its diversity and strengthening the visibility of our infrastructure projects as well as our strategic topics in French-speaking Switzerland. A particular focus is on the Prilly site, where you act as the reference person and first contact for the media as well as for any emerging questions. You play a key role in enhancing our activities, proactively managing current topics, and supporting our projects communicatively.
You are specifically responsible for the following tasks:
- Spokesperson: drafting and communicating statements to the press (newspapers, radio, TV)
- Communicative support of network infrastructure projects in French-speaking Switzerland
- Advising and supporting project managers in communicating their projects
- Managing and anticipating media and social issues
- Active work within the newsroom and promotion of strategic topics
- Developing complex topics to communicate them simply
- Coordination point for all communication-related questions at the Prilly site
- Coordination of crisis communication
- Writing and adapting impactful content, managing visual materials
- Designing and implementing effective communication strategies

For this senior position (80–100%), we are looking for a communicative, structured, process-oriented, autonomous person with an excellent network in French-speaking Switzerland, who masters the complexity of the media, political, and sectoral landscape.
You bring with you:
- Proven experience (several years) in communication, media project management, or journalism (French-speaking Switzerland)
- Excellent oral skills and ability to present confidently in public, on the microphone, or in front of the camera
- Excellent knowledge of the Swiss Romand media and political landscape
- Proven experience in media relations and managing complex situations
- Ability to advise and support project teams, strong communication and pedagogical skills
- Excellent conceptual skills, ability to work multitask and efficiently
- Initiative, structured, with a sense of visual storytelling and innovation spirit
- Experience in crisis communication
- Good knowledge of the "field" work, willingness to learn and acquire new skills
- Strong ability to network (French-speaking Switzerland), negotiate, and strategically position messages
- You hold a university degree or a university of applied sciences degree in journalism or communication
- Native French speaker with very good knowledge of German, with writing and verbal fluency
