About the job
We train people who shape the church. The catechesis training program according to ForModula enables people to teach religious education. The practical training also allows them to help shape the church in everyday life in pastoral areas and parishes. The training program is offered for several Central Swiss cantons at various locations as well as digitally. The cantons are now creating a new position for the associated tasks, which will be based in Lucerne. Therefore, we are looking for a specialist as Head of Church Education Central Switzerland (30%) starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your tasks
- You plan and coordinate the modules of the training program. You are supported by a secretariat.
- You lead the group of module leaders.
- You are responsible for educational management. This includes, for example, the accreditation and certification of the modules according to the ForModula guidelines.
- You are responsible for quality assurance.
- You coordinate and are responsible for the admission procedure.
- You collaborate with the representatives of the sponsoring organizations.
- You coordinate public relations and manage the website.
- You represent the involved sponsoring organizations in the ForModula conference at the German-speaking Swiss level.
Your profile
- You have completed the Religious Pedagogical Institute Lucerne (RPI), studied theology, and completed the professional introduction of the Diocese of Basel or can demonstrate an equivalent education (e.g., school management).
- You have leadership experience.
- Further training in adult education (SVEB I) and experience in this field is an advantage.
- You enjoy further developing pastoral education.
- You are confident in using common IT applications.
- You enjoy working in a team.
