Are you passionate about driving evidence-based strategies that improve patient outcomes? At Abbott’s Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD), we are looking for a Senior Manager in Health Economics & Outcomes Research to shape global initiatives that make a real impact.
About the Role
Join us as a Senior Manager in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and help shape access to life-saving therapies in oncology and immunology. This is a unique opportunity to make a global impact while working in a collaborative, inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.
Reporting to the Director, Global HEOR, you will lead strategic and hands-on initiatives across emerging markets (Latin America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, China, Russia, India, and Africa). Your work will directly influence patient access and affordability, ensuring innovative treatments reach those who need them most.
What You’ll Do

Lead with purpose: Oversee HEOR projects with external partners, ensuring scientific rigor and timely delivery.

Empower teams globally: Co-create country-level HEOR plans and mentor local professionals to build capabilities.

Drive innovation: Adapt economic models and guide Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies to meet diverse market needs.

Communicate impact: Translate complex data into clear, compelling value stories for HTA submissions and payer negotiations.

Collaborate across cultures: Work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to strengthen global access strategies.

Champion visibility: Lead publication planning and represent HEOR at international congresses.
About You
-
8+ years’ experience in the biotech, pharma or healthcare sector (incl. consulting) with strong focus in Health Economics, Market Access, or related functions/fields

Experience across multiple global regions, especially emerging markets

Deep knowledge of healthcare system and evolving trends of the major HTA countries and Emerging countries

Strong knowledge of health economic modeling and RWE.

Proven leadership in cross-functional or cross-country initiatives.

Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, PharmD, MPH) in health economics, public health, epidemiology, or related field.

Oncology and/or immunology experience preferred.
