Health & Safety Manager with Focus on Processes (80-100%) - 1345
With passion for safety in electricity supply
In this responsible role, you actively shape our processes and documentation in the area of occupational safety and health protection. You contribute to the development of our integrated management system and take responsibility for its targeted implementation. With your holistic view, you review measures, organize training sessions, and manage digital tools and platforms. You always keep the relevant key figures under control and represent Swissgrid competently in the Swiss environment. In this way, you make a decisive contribution to our safety culture and actively contribute to the sustainable success of Swissgrid.
Your tasks include:
- Designing, optimizing, and documenting processes
- Active participation in the integrated management system (ISO 45001), including document maintenance
- Overview and ensuring compliant implementation with internal and external requirements
- Reviewing the implementation and currency of measures for occupational safety and health protection
- Updating and monitoring legal requirements
- Organizing training sessions, creating Safety Flashes, and coordinating emergency organization
- Key figure management and provision of relevant data (e.g., for CSER reporting)
- Participation in the Swiss environment and representation of Swissgrid's interests

For this demanding role, we are looking for an outgoing personality with a structured way of thinking who can identify complex relationships and explain them clearly. You enjoy working in a team and are used to communicating and presenting appropriately at different levels. Furthermore, you bring the following:
- Training in a technical field (e.g., electrical or safety engineering) – from apprenticeship to university degree – combined with practical knowledge and/or experience in the high-voltage environment
- Qualification as a safety specialist or safety engineer with the corresponding professional certificate
- Training or experience in conducting internal audits
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role
- Native-level German skills and good French skills are an advantage

We are the Health & Safety team of Swissgrid. The focus areas of this team include advising and coaching employees, managers, and service providers on occupational safety and health protection issues. Among other things, we manage training modules, conduct safety inspections, and support the creation of risk assessments. We maintain a good team spirit in our Health & Safety team (currently 7 people) and are passionately committed to the safety and health of employees and service providers.
