Tasks
- Coordinate planning and monitoring of welded structures per DIN EN ISO 14731.
- Conduct technical feasibility checks and validate manufacturing requirements.
- Support qualification of welders and oversee production planning.
Skills
- Technical training in metal processing; welding technician preferred.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office, and proficiency in German.
- Effective communication in English is a plus; proactive and reliable work ethic.

Decide / coordinate within a limited area of planning, execution, and monitoring of simple welded constructions, according to DIN EN ISO 14731
Technical feasibility check, verification of requirements during production
Qualification of welders and operators
Maintenance/suitability of operating equipment (facilities, aids, and occupational safety)
Production planning
Qualification of welding processes, welding instructions, and work instructions
Determination (suitability) of welding consumables, including procurement and storage
Monitoring and inspection before, during, and after welding, including preparation of reports/protocols
Non-conformities and corrective actions
Marking for traceability
Prepare, create, and/or review quality reports
Create welding drawings
Support construction, AVOR, sales, and purchasing
Introduction of meaningful innovations/improvement suggestions (CIP)

This is what makes you successful:
Technical basic training in metal processing (ideally apparatus builder or polymechanic)
Training as a welding technician (WT) desired, at least training as a welding specialist (WS)
Experience in welding rail vehicles according to EN15085
Experience in construction is an advantage
Experience in aluminum welding
Experience in sheet metal production is an advantage
Good IT skills in MS Office programs
Fluent German in spoken and written form
Fluent English in spoken and written form is an advantage
Good oral and written communication skills
High degree of responsibility
