The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a long secondary school with classical and modern language profiles, an immersion course in German / English, as well as a strong STEM offering. Around 800 students learn at our school, taught and supported by 150 teachers and staff in administration and operations. Due to the retirement of the previous position holder, we are looking for a head for our ICT team to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the school's IT infrastructure; ensuring a secure, efficient, and smooth internal IT operation and support for students, teachers, and employees
- BYOD and Mobile Device Management
- Supporting school management strategically to optimize the school's digital development
- Leading IT projects
- Strategic collaboration with other secondary schools and the cantonal IT
- Proactive communication between internal school members and third-level support
Your profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the IT process landscape, preferably in an educational institution
- Broad know-how in Apple hardware and software as well as Microsoft Windows
- Enjoy working with people and leading a team
- Independent, structured, solution- and service-oriented working style
- Openness, flexibility
