You are looking for a meaningful task where you have direct daily contact with people? Welcome to the Social Services of the City of Winterthur! You can expect a versatile working environment where your commitment counts and your consulting skills are in demand. From March 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed personality to strengthen our Central Contact Point (Intake).Your Tasks
- Independent conduct of registration interviews for economic and personal (asylum) social assistance
- Providing information by phone and in person as well as short consultations in various life situations
- Complete case recording and file management in the electronic client system KLIB until the case is handed over to social work
- Administrative tasks such as document checks, appointment scheduling, mail processing, and preparation of foundation applications
- Responsibility for the training and supervision of a commercial apprentice
Your Profile
- Commercial training, supplemented by further education in social insurance
- Professional experience in the areas of social assistance, social insurance, or a comparable consulting function
- High social competence, communication skills, and the ability to keep an overview in hectic situations
- Confidence in dealing with people of diverse origins and life situations
