In a context of evolving risks, changing professions, and increased demands for technical performance, we are looking for a Head of Property Underwriting Department to lead and ensure the excellence of underwriting for Household, Buildings, Commerce, and Cyber insurance.

The various missions awaiting you:

In your leadership role, you assume overall responsibility for the department and play a strategic role in risk management, portfolio performance, and team development:

Technical management & underwriting policy

• ​​Define, deploy, and guarantee the Property risk acceptance policy, in line with the company strategy​
• Validate complex and non-standard cases
• Ensure proactive portfolio management (remediation, premium adjustment, coverage rationalization)

Team management & development

• Lead and develop your team through inspiring, collaborative, and coaching-oriented leadership
• Promote a culture of expertise sharing and continuous improvement

Projects, innovation & cross-functional coordination

• Be a driving force in the evolution and transformation of the business model
• Actively contribute to the development and adaptation of Property products, in connection with other departments
• Maintain active monitoring of market, risk, and competition developments, and stimulate innovation

What makes you unique:

• ​​Significant experience in Property underwriting, including several years in a management or technical responsibility role​
• Higher education (insurance, economics, risk management, or equivalent) and implementation of underwriting and renewal policies​
• Excellent knowledge of the Swiss Non-Life insurance market
• Excellent command of French and German
