Shift Supervisor Paper Production 100% in 4-Shift Operation (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Leadership with foresight: You take over the operational and disciplinary management of your shift team – including employee evaluations and development discussions. With your leadership style, you strengthen the personal responsibility, motivation, and further development of your employees.
- Production under control: You ensure a smooth and efficient production process in the areas of paper production, recycled paper processing, and sludge incineration – across all plants. In case of disruptions, adjustments, or cleaning work, you quickly restore operational readiness and actively support the planning and implementation of shutdowns.
- In the thick of things: This is not a pure office job – you are close to the team and actively pitch in where needed. You lend a hand, take responsibility on the shop floor, and are present when it matters.
- Responsibility for processes: You actively contribute to continuous improvements to achieve our annual goals. In cooperation with the other shift supervisors, you create vacation and personnel planning, ensure seamless reporting, and monitor data maintenance in the system.
Profile
- Education & expertise: You have completed training as a paper technologist and ideally further training as an industrial foreman – or are willing to complete it. Your broad expertise in paper manufacturing, preferably in the tissue sector, and your good technical understanding distinguish you.
- Leadership experience & personality: You bring several years of experience in team leadership. With your high safety and quality awareness as well as your decisiveness, you convince in everyday shift work. Your working style is independent, responsible, and goal-oriented.
- Shift readiness: You feel comfortable in 4-shift operation. We work in a rotating 7-day shift model, where you work seven consecutive days in the same shift – including weekends and holidays. Between shift changes, you have 56 to 80 hours of free time depending on the rhythm.
- Digital competence: You are proficient in MS Office and work confidently with digital systems.
- Communication: You communicate fluently in German – clearly, reliably, and on equal footing.
