In northeastern Switzerland, the name Rotz has stood for almost 50 years for competence around the car, customer proximity, and innovation. Now the family is opening a new chapter and is converting the well-known location into a unique restaurant with a show kitchen, thereby also expanding the already existing self-check-in hotel.
The Rotz hotel is a self check-in hotel, embedded in a world of enjoyment with various gastronomic offerings. Customer orientation and service quality are top priorities – and this is exactly where the reception comes into play: It is a central place and the first point of contact for our guests. Hospitality is highly valued here and the foundation for a completely positive stay is laid.
To meet the needs of our guests, we are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a:
Reception Manager 100% (m/f/d)
Your main tasks:- As Reception Manager, you are part of the management of the world of enjoyment and thus bear responsibility for the entire hotel administration and are the first contact person for guests and customers.
- You welcome and take care of guests for the hotel, restaurant, and car dealership – with your empathetic manner, you ensure a warm welcome.
- You professionally process hotel reservations in the system, handle group inquiries, and actively maintain contact with corporate clients.
- You analyze guest satisfaction feedback, handle complaints in a solution-oriented manner, and derive targeted improvement measures.
- You perform cash and daily closing according to internal processes and create meaningful statistics for management.
- You carry out various administrative tasks related to marketing and management.
- You plan and structure the workflows at the reception and work closely with the deputy to ensure perfect organization.
- You have completed training in the hotel industry or a comparable commercial education with experience at the reception.
- You bring several years of professional experience at the reception or in a comparable function and know the processes of a modern hotel operation.
- You have leadership experience, are team-oriented, and enjoy guiding, developing, and inspiring employees towards common goals.
- You are a warm host personality with pronounced customer orientation and always keep an overview even in challenging situations.
- You are proficient in common hotel software systems (ideally "Muse") and enjoy digital processes.
- You work structured, solution-oriented, and have the necessary numerical flair to keep budgets and occupancy under control.
- You communicate confidently in German and English – additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- You are willing to work until 7:00 p.m., as well as regular Saturday shifts within our reception opening hours (Monday to Saturday, morning to evening).
