The Eichholz Foundation offers 47 residential and employment places for people with a mental impairment and/or an addiction disorder. In 30 single rooms, 2 studios, 15 shared living places, and a large studio, we support the service users in a needs-oriented, professional, and solution-oriented manner in shaping their everyday life. Service users also have the opportunity to participate in internal employment in the kitchen or housekeeping. The internal employment is conducted within the framework of the day structure without pay and is also available to external persons.
Your main tasks:
- Organization and execution of comprehensive maintenance and basic cleaning
- Responsible for building technology, devices, machines, and vehicles
- Carrying out small repair work in the house
- Care of the outdoor and green area and proper waste disposal
- Occasional involvement of service users in the context of the tasks
- SIBE and related tasks, including training of staff and service users
- Independent management of the Lobos facility, building, and care manager
- Contact person and coordination of external craftsmen
- Assistance in organizing and carrying out internal celebrations
Requirements profile:
- Craft or technical training with a federal certificate of competence as a caretaker or specialist in operational maintenance EFZ with professional experience
- Awareness of cleanliness and order
- Sense of responsibility and cost awareness, independence, and communication skills
- Training as SIBE or willingness to complete it
- Proficient in handling Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to flexibly manage tasks in a lively institution and collaborate with various departments
- Having the flair to engage with the diverse and individual needs of people with a mental impairment and to work with them
