Polymechanic - Assembly as Test Bench Assembler

• Work on temporary project-specific setups for factory testing of turbo compressor systems
• Positioning and aligning components of the machine train (engine-gearbox-compressor)
• Foundation construction from reinforced steel beams and tension cubes
• Connecting the machine train to auxiliary systems with hoses, tubing or piping (lubricating oil, sealing system)
• Assembly and disassembly activities on the test specimens to establish operational readiness, for inspection purposes or troubleshooting
• Support for hot commissioning and customer acceptance about 1 week per month in the evenings
• Collegiality and willingness to assist in other test bench plants (pipe assembly, instrumentation) or manufacturing (core machine assembly, rotor construction) in case of capacity bottlenecks or underload

• Polymechanic EFZ specialization in assembly (mandatory)
• Experience in large machinery or plant construction
• Familiarity and willingness for simple mechanical processing
• Experience or willingness to learn handling larger and heavier loads with radio-controlled overhead crane
• Interest in shaping the work environment and processes with the team in self-organization and personal responsibility
