As Head IT Basic Banking, Billing & Payments, you take on a key role in the further development and modernization of our IT services for payment transactions, card and passive business. Together with your DevOps teams, you design sustainable and future-oriented solutions in the development and maintenance of our services. About half of these services are in-house developments based on a microservice architecture stack. Fully integrated services are used for the others. By consistently following the DevOps approach, thanks to a modern architectural approach and the gradual cloud transformation, you ensure together with your leadership team and the DevOps teams that the digital infrastructure of Zürcher Kantonalbank is stable, secure, and scalable. You work closely with your stakeholders to optimally implement IT requirements.

Your tasks
- Taking overall technical responsibility for nine DevOps teams and ensuring effective and efficient development of services in the areas of payment transactions, cards, and passive business
- Responsibility for the maintenance of these services including representation of the portfolio as part of the IT emergency organization
- Shaping the IT landscape for our self-developed and integrated applications in terms of proactive lifecycle management (including modernization and automation initiatives)
- Advising our stakeholders regarding IT requirements and ensuring optimal support of business processes
- Forward-looking and strategic planning of skills and competencies with a clear focus on the product and technology roadmap
- Personnel, financial, and professional leadership of three line teams with a total of around 60 employees.
Your profile
- Completed studies (Master's or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable education and several years of leadership experience in the financial industry
- Deep IT knowledge as well as expertise in modern development technologies and methods, especially in dealing with highly integrated, business-critical applications that place the highest demands on availability and performance
- Several years of practical experience in the financial sector, preferably in a highly transactional environment (experience in the payment transactions area is an advantage)
- Several years of experience with agile software development methods
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to convey complex issues clearly
- Solution-oriented thinking and enjoyment of collaboration with different stakeholders
- Agile mindset, high commitment, and solid service orientation.
