What to expect
Financial Statement Preparation:
You prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER and ensure that all business transactions are fully and correctly recorded. This includes, among other things, the calculation of accruals, the review of the valuation of balance sheet items, as well as various reconciliations.
Consolidation:
You assist in the consolidation of six companies to ensure proper group financial statements.
ICS:
Within the framework of the internal control system, you take responsibility for carrying out and documenting various controls.
Taxes:
You prepare quarterly VAT returns as well as the annual tax declaration for the group companies within your area of responsibility.
Governance:
In close exchange with colleagues from purchasing, sales, and other business areas, you ensure that cross-departmental processes with financial relevance are understood, complied with, and further developed.
Automation:
You critically question existing processes and tools in accounting, bring in ideas for optimization, and implement them.
What you bring
- You have a university of applied sciences degree in business administration, accounting, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., expert in accounting and controlling)
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in trade or manufacturing companies
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Navision/Dynamics, and confident handling of Excel
- You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment, show flexibility, are open to change, and like to proactively tackle and improve things
- Structured and independent working style with a strong affinity for numbers
- Fluent German skills
