Do you want to commit to the coordination and development of on-site inspections (Vor-Ort-Kontrollen) within the entire FINMA and also contribute to quality controls and reporting related to them? Then you are in the right place!
- Overall planning of on-site inspections (taking into account the priorities defined by supervision) and coordination of these within FINMA in collaboration with other team members
- Significant participation in the development of methodology and continuous improvement of processes related to on-site inspections within the framework of the FINMA Roadmap
- Verification as the "second line of defense" of compliance with standards related to the on-site inspection concept as well as compliance with the defined methodology, including the execution of quality controls and verification that key inspections are carried out
- Important contribution to ensuring adequate, timely, and coherent reporting on on-site inspections for internal and external stakeholders.
- University degree in economics and/or law, ideally with at least 5 years of professional experience in control functions, such as external auditor or within an internal audit function
- Experience related to the control environment of an insurance company is a plus but not an absolute requirement
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the financial sector as well as solid knowledge of issues related to financial market law
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, good communication skills, assertiveness, and good analytical abilities
- Fluent written and spoken expression in Italian or French (C2) and good knowledge of German (C1)
