The Zurich Cantonal Bank is the leading universal bank in the Zurich economic area and one of the largest banks in Switzerland. Our Cash Management department supports large companies in optimizing their payment transactions and liquidity processes. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual who will support our Cash Management Consultant in daily business and wishes to develop into this demanding role in the long term.
Your Tasks
Support in Customer Service
- Analysis of customer needs and development of tailored solution proposals in the areas of payment transactions, cash reporting, cash pooling, and electronic system connections
- Support of customer advisors in acquiring new key accounts as well as in further developing existing customer relationships
- Accompanying, advising, and supporting our top customers in daily business, especially with complex questions and challenges in payment transactions and cash management
- Proactive support in problem management: identification, analysis, and resolution of problems in close cooperation with customers and internal specialist departments
Negotiation and Contract Management
- Preparation and follow-up of customer meetings as well as creation of presentations and decision-making bases for negotiations
- Support in negotiating and concluding offers and contracts in the area of payment transactions and cash pooling solutions
Development and Implementation of Solutions
- Development and introduction of individual cash management solutions, e.g., for payment processing, account structures, and liquidity optimization
- Technical and banking-related review of customer inquiries, especially in the area of bank connections and payment transactions
- Support in creating concepts and documentation for customer-specific solutions
Digitalization and Innovation
- Support in the introduction of digital tools and platforms as well as in technical changes in payment transactions (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, APIs, ISO 20022, EBICS)
- Collaboration with internal departments (e.g., IT, product management) and incorporation of customer and market feedback to further develop our cash management products
- Participation in internal projects to further develop processes and products in the area of cash management
Your Profile
Banking Knowledge
- Completed banking education. Experience in corporate banking or in the corporate and business customer sector
- Good knowledge of payment transactions
Technological Affinity
- High IT affinity and routine in handling IT tools as well as solid knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Interest in digital trends and technologies in payment transactions, financial systems, treasury management systems
Customer Orientation and Communication Skills
- Strong service orientation and negotiation skills with customers and partners. Ability to explain complex issues clearly, as well as confident and professional demeanor when dealing with decision-makers (e.g., CFOs, Group Treasurers, Cash Managers, or accounting management)
- High social competence and negotiation skills to build long-term customer relationships, recognize individual customer needs, develop suitable solutions, and maintain them successfully
Independence and Analytical Thinking
- Committed, reliable, and efficient working style with the ability to analyze financial processes and data flows and identify optimization potentials
- Willingness to work into complex topics and learn from experienced experts to develop further in the long term
