As an after-school site manager, you coordinate the care of students and participate in their supervision during lunchtime at a municipal after-school site (canteens and activity areas) in accordance with the principles set out in the After-school Educational Project and the articles of the School Canteen Regulations.
YOUR TASKS
- Coordinate the reception of students during lunchtime from their school dismissal to their return to class.
- Ensure the quality of the meal service.
- Set up and supervise the proposed leisure activities (sports, games, creative workshops, etc.).
- Organize the work of the staff under your responsibility (service staff and animation & supervision staff).
- Enforce the pedagogical principles defined by the hierarchy.
- Oversee the follow-up of services provided by the contractor responsible for meal production & delivery.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the premises provided.
- Maintain quality working relationships with partners (FSEJ, concierge, teaching staff, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a plus.
- Holder of a diploma as a social educator (ES) and/or a certificate as a socio-educational assistant (ASE).
- Professional experience in supervising groups of children.
- Professional experience in team management.
- Knowledge of child development psychology from 0 to 16 years and interest in current pedagogical practices.
- Adaptability and real ability to work in a team and network.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use common computer tools.
- Ability to take responsibility, work within a small team, and manage tasks autonomously.
- Strong sense of public service, interpersonal skills, ability to work with different types of internal and external municipal partners.
- Motivated and committed, versatile, good stress resistance.
Working hours and schedule:
Fixed-term contract with remuneration based on hours worked during school periods (Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday, 10:30 am to 2 pm).
Possibility to combine with other activities within the after-school framework.
Start date: Monday, August 10, 2026
Duration of the assignment: From August 10, 2026 to July 2, 2027 with the possibility to renew the contract for the following school year.
