WHAT YOU WILL DRIVE
- You perform the function of welding supervision according to EN 15085-2 and ISO 3834-2, mainly at the Baar site
- You ensure the quality of internal welding production in the steel/stainless steel sector
- You create and monitor compliance with welding planning documents, work instructions, and project-specific test instructions
- You support the theoretical training of welders, operators, and NDT personnel
- You check contract and production documents regarding manufacturing and quality requirements and evidence, production possibilities, and compliance with standards
- You review welding constructions and release drawings from a welding perspective
- You conduct welding audits as well as First Article Inspections (FAIs) at suppliers
WHAT YOU BRING
- Degree (FH/University) in mechanical engineering, materials science, or equivalent
- Additional training as IWE/EWE mandatory
- Ideally several years of experience in a comparable role, especially in the steel sector
- Open, communicative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented personality
- Willingness to travel for plant and supplier visits, especially between Baar (ZG) and Bussnang (TG)
- Knowledge of a 3D CAD and MS Office is required
