Head of Meal Service Group (100%)
Profile:
The ideal candidate has solid experience in the structured catering sector, with a professional background comparable to that of an experienced Maître d’Hôtel. They have developed high skills in operational service management, team coordination, and maintaining high-quality standards even in high-volume contexts.
They transfer these skills to the healthcare field, standing out for a strong sensitivity towards the patient, understood as a person with specific needs and often in fragile conditions. They are able to combine hospitality logic with clinical-organizational requirements, ensuring an efficient, safe meal service while also attentive to perceived quality. The profile is completed by strong operational leadership, organizational skills, and a solution-oriented approach.
Necessary requirements:
- Training in hospitality/catering (AFC or equivalent qualification);
- Minimum professional experience of 3–5 years in similar or comparable roles (e.g., Maître d’Hôtel, dining room manager);
- Proven experience in operational team management;
- Knowledge of hygiene and health regulations (HACCP);
- Ability to organize and manage service flows;
- Strong customer/patient orientation and relational sensitivity;
- Excellent communication skills and management of feedback/complaints;
- Ability to work in dynamic and high workload contexts;
- Ability to collaborate interdisciplinarily (with care staff and other services);
- Availability to work in shifts.
