The city police, with its over 250 employees, is committed to a safe and trustworthy Winterthur. To complement our team in the administration police, we are looking for a motivated police officer starting 01.12.2025 or by agreement.Your tasks
- Ensuring safety, peace, and order in public spaces
- Managing public grounds for increased common use and special uses
- Processing administrative legal documents (orders, legal remedies, and reassessments)
- Performing core police duties
- In the absence of the department head: leading and organizing the administration police department in professional, personnel, tactical, and material respects
Your profile
- Basic police training (BBT) as well as legal education or further training (legal specialist or BLaw/MLaw)
- Leadership experience is an advantage
- Proactive personality with understanding of entrepreneurial and political thinking and acting, confident appearance, and very good communication skills
- Situationally adapted, collegial leadership style, high team spirit
- Willingness for professional further training
