Head of Underground Works Group Romandy Switzerland

In this role, you take responsibility for managing and leading a specialized team as well as developing activities related to underground structures in Romandy Switzerland.

You are involved in the planning, design, and monitoring of large-scale underground projects. In this capacity, you lead teams of engineers and experts from various disciplines, while ensuring technical reliability, compliance with regulatory requirements, and safety standards applicable to the projects.

You also play an active role in strengthening the office's presence in Romandy Switzerland by contributing to acquiring new mandates and developing relationships with partners and clients.

The position can be based in Lausanne or Fribourg.

Profile sought

Degree in civil engineering (EPFL, HES or equivalent training), with a focus on geotechnics or underground infrastructures.
At least 10 years of professional experience in underground works and/or geotechnics, including a good command of SIA standards.
Proven expertise in the design and dimensioning of underground structures and geotechnical solutions.
Experience in leading project teams as well as in the technical, organizational, and financial management of engineering mandates.
Excellent command of French; knowledge of other languages (German, Italian or English) is an advantage.
