• You lead and manage development projects in the area of flat roofs and building waterproofing.
• You develop new formulations and systems.
• You further develop and optimize our existing products and systems together with the PM and the production sites of the group.
• You evaluate new and alternative raw materials to design our products and systems customer-oriented.
• You ensure our industry-leading development know-how in waterproofing materials.
• You continue to build up and operate our laboratory infrastructure in Boswil together with the lab – including tests and aging tests.
• You plan, organize, conduct, and document product and system tests as well as trials.
• You lead projects in collaboration with external research partners, testing institutes, and approval authorities.
• You design new test and testing methods and actively shape them.

• You have a degree in materials science, chemical engineering, plastics technology, or a comparable field; alternatively, you have a technical basic education with further training (HF, TS) and many years of practical experience.
• You have solid knowledge in the field of building or roof waterproofing, especially from plastics and bitumen.
• You have experience in test methods, aging tests, and system validations.
• You are very familiar with the analysis and evaluation of new materials (polymers, additives, carriers).
• You are confident in handling technical documentation and presenting results.
• Your pronounced analytical skills and technical understanding ensure your successful work.
• You have high initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and implementation strength.
• Your communication skills and ability to work in a team help you in interdisciplinary projects.
• You are innovative and interested in sustainable technologies in construction.
• You master German and English spoken and written. French is an additional advantage for you.
