About the job
To complement our «Fugu» daycare team in Rüti, we are looking for a cook 30% (spread over 5 days, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) starting April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
«Fugu» daycares are a private operation aimed at expanding family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our new «Fugu» daycare is located directly at the train station in the center of Rüti. We have over 400 m2 of bright, modern, and spacious rooms available, which we have designed to be child-friendly and comfortably furnished. The daycare is organized into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Your creativity is in demand! As a cook, you ensure that children and staff stay energized. You are enthusiastic about preparing menus that you design creatively. You bring a strong sense of responsibility, consider children's allergies, and ensure that the food is ready on time for lunch. Adhering to hygiene regulations is no problem for you, and you also enjoy that children regularly participate in cooking.
TASKS
- Preparation of lunch for about 40 children and 15 staff members
- Economical and environmentally conscious use of food supplies
- Maintenance of the kitchen and kitchen equipment
- Compliance with hygiene and food regulations
- Weekly ordering of food supplies
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed training
- Experience in preparing meals for multiple people
- Good German language skills
- Open and transparent communication with supervisors and staff
- Contribution to constructive teamwork
