The Media and Information Center MIZ combines the library and archives of ZHdK. The extensive physical and digital collections cover all study areas of the university.
As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a
Team Leader Media Circulation / Inventory Logistics (80%)
Your tasks
In this position, you are responsible for leading, organizing, and coordinating these tasks. You lead the team and ensure the smooth operation of media circulation. You are also in contact with other libraries and users of the courier services. At the same time, you actively participate in the team to fulfill the tasks mentioned above. As the contact person for room management concerns within the MIZ, you maintain contact with the building services and external service providers for the maintenance and repair of systems and furniture. Together with your supervisor, the Head of Operations and Mediation at MIZ, you take care of reviewing and optimizing logistics processes and implement adjustments in the service offering.
Your profile
· Certified logistics manager, certified technician HF logistics, operations dispatcher, or equivalent qualification
· Experience in a library or information institution, ideally also with the ALMA library system and the Rapido service
· Experience in leading a small team
· Service-oriented and independent working style as well as polite manners
· Clear and open communication, confident written expression in German and English
· Good physical condition, high level of reliability, flexibility, and resilience
· Willingness to work Saturday shifts every 4 to 5 weeks
