The Building Department is responsible for the development, realization, and maintenance of cantonal buildings, from the Grossmünster to the university building. With us, you build the future – together with 160 dedicated colleagues. For Construction Area A, we are looking for the successor to the department head and a new member of the executive board.
The Building Department is responsible for the development, realization, and maintenance of cantonal buildings, from the Grossmünster to the university building. With us, you build the future – together with 160 dedicated colleagues. For Construction Area A, we are looking for the successor to the department head and a new member of the executive board.
With us, you are responsible for the further development of an organization with about 30 employees and a broad portfolio of projects for our cantonal clients in the areas of security, administration, culture, and others. Your organization stands for care in the development and realization of our buildings and ensures the management of processes, costs, deadlines, as well as risk and quality management. As a member of the executive board, the strategic further development of the office is part of your task.
It is important to us that you communicate with employees, partners, and our internal stakeholders on an equal footing. You are open to innovative and new approaches. Whether cultural or modern administrative buildings – you are enthusiastic about developing and realizing these with your organization for the Canton of Zurich. You have a degree as an architect or engineer (ETH or FH) and have completed management training. You have leadership experience and enjoy working in a large organization.
