Your tasks- Own passivation line performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Control bath chemistry and line parameters to specification, minimizing variation.
- Lead the team—training, standard work, coaching, and corrective discipline.
- Execute quality assurance tests/inspections and act on results.
- Audit & document process compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage administrative tasks with accurate, timely documentation and reporting.
- Advance improvement initiatives that lift performance, OEE, and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with SOS standards and actively engage in the Symbios program.
- Validate compatibility of new chemicals with the existing water matrix.
- Drive continuous improvement for cost-efficient plant operations.
- Approve & integrate new chemicals safely into production processes.
- Verify conversion layers and perform analytical testing of treatment baths.
- Analyze indirectly discharged wastewater to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Model site and Casting Solutions Group values, advancing company and department goals.
Your profile
- Hands-on surface-treatment lead (5–10+ years) in high-volume metal manufacturing (automotive/Tier-1 preferred) who owns chemistry control, line uptime, and CTQ capability. Proven people leader who can train operators, run SPC, and drive OEE, scrap, and cost down while staying audit-ready (IATF/ISO/EHS).
- Core experience (must-have)
- 3–5+ years running conversion coating/passivation lines (zirconium, titanium, or trivalent chrome; stainless acid passivation a plus).
