YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Responsibility across locations for all procurement activities, from inquiry in the tender phase to invoice verification of existing orders, within the assigned product groups and the existing procurement guidelines
• Participation in the development of new procedures/concepts/tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operational procurement tasks
• Creation of a sustainable supplier portfolio for specific projects including development and approval of new suppliers (approval strategy), monitoring of suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, and holding escalation meetings (supplier management)
• Definition of measures to optimize material unit costs and procurement times
• Independent creation of contracts within the product groups and in coordination with the department head and contract management
• Procurement pooling and collaboration with locations of the Stadler Rail Group
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Completed commercial training with job-specific further education or business administration studies
• Proven 5 years of professional experience in purchasing in an international and technical environment
• German and English skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)
• Very good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems
• High social, methodological, and negotiation skills as well as communication skills
