Your main missions will be as follows:
- Support the Vaud municipalities in the design and implementation of health promotion and prevention (HPP) approaches;Â
- Deploy projects and services in the sector, including: the Healthy Municipality label, calls for structural projects aimed at improving living environments, dissemination of information and training in HPP, as well as networking municipalities and their partners;Â
- Strengthen the commitment of local communities by proposing interventions adapted to local realities, political contexts, and population needs;Â
- Develop and ensure collaborations with internal teams and external partners to promote coherent and complementary actions in the territory.Â
- Contribute to the conceptualization, implementation, and evaluation of a regional and local anchoring strategy for HPP;Â
- Contribute to the department's expertise on health-promoting environments, local interventions, and the Health in All Policies approach;Â
- Identify concrete action levers, based on best practices, to sustainably improve quality of life in municipalities;
- Develop tools, guides, and incentives facilitating the implementation of structural and behavioral HPP interventions in municipalities. Â
- Participate in the development of sector and department activities and projects;Â
- Represent Unisanté with external bodies;Â
- Promote and communicate the projects and expertise carried by the department.
Your assets:
- Holder of a Master’s degree in social sciences, political science, territorial development/urban planning, environmental science, or an equivalent qualification;Â
- Continuing education in public health, community health, health promotion, or public policy. Training in project management and/or participatory methods is an asset;Â
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project development or management in public health, social action, or environmental fields. Experience within a public community and knowledge of the Vaud institutional context are a plus;Â
- Excellent command of spoken and written French. Knowledge of German and/or English is appreciated;Â
- Very good analytical, synthesis, and proposal skills, ability to convince and work with diverse interlocutors, adaptability to different professional contexts.Â
