Biomedical Analysis Technician Deputy Head Clinical Chemistry Service
The Clinical Chemistry Service is looking for a biomedical analysis technician deputy unit head for the special analyses sector.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Clinical Chemistry Service (CCL) is tasked with performing 24/7, for CHUV services and external clients, a selection of analyses while ensuring the quality of results. It also participates in teaching and clinical research of the Institution.
Mission
- You perform and technically validate clinical chemistry analyses (adults and pediatrics) and specific analyses in the special analyses sector
- You participate in the management of the quality management system and infrastructure/equipment/supply
- You participate in analytical developments in the sector
- You assist the TAB unit head and assume operational responsibilities in a specialized area
- You communicate with laboratory clients.
Profile
- You hold a Swiss Red Cross recognized ES diploma as a biomedical analysis technician or an equivalent title
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience
- Experience in management is desirable
- You master the performance of clinical chemistry analyses
- You have good teamwork skills
- You demonstrate autonomy, a strong sense of priorities, and the ability to assume responsibilities in a demanding environment
- You show rigor, curiosity, care, and discretion
- Experience in the accredited field is an asset.
