Within the Finance Department, and to strengthen the General Accounting service, we are looking for a Head of Accounting group between 80 and 100%, based in Lausanne. The role involves both leading a team of accountants and acting as an accounting specialist.
The tasks awaiting you:
Provide technical support and advice to your collaborators in handling accounting tasks, particularly those related to treasury
Organize, plan, and coordinate your team's activities: lead meetings, conduct one-on-one interviews, manage replacements
Support your collaborators and trainees (6 people) and ensure the proper application of accounting rules
Contribute to division projects as an accounting subject matter expert
Supervise and perform the daily processing of accounting operations, reconciliation tasks, and closings
Support Vaudoise agencies and other services with accounting-related questions
Your profile:
Federal diploma in finance and accounting or higher education in accounting (Bachelor HES in Business Economics, HEC, Fiduciary Agent Diploma)
Proven experience in accounting (minimum 5 years)
Experienced leader, recognized for your ability to mobilize teams, create a positive work atmosphere, and foster employee development, while making effective decisions in demanding environments
Native French speaker, with excellent written and oral communication skills
Good command of German (minimum B2 level)
Very good knowledge of Excel and modern ERP systems to record accounting entries and reconciliations
