Logistics manager at the Pediatrics Department
We are looking for a logistics manager with a workload between 80% and 100% for the pediatrics department.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Within the Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME), the pediatrics department offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other department services such as neonatology, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Mission
- You ensure the ordering and availability of the necessary materials (care, furniture) for the operation of the units, while respecting proper allocations and allocated budgets
- You ensure first-level maintenance of care equipment
- You manage the storeroom within the allocated budget
- You participate in user training for materials and equipment
- You participate in monitoring premises work and internal moves/events
- You actively contribute to the quality, development, and improvement of the service's offerings.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a logistician or an equivalent recognized qualification
- You have at least 2 years of experience in hospital logistics and stock management
- You have technical training related to medical devices
- You can demonstrate excellent mastery of IT tools (ERP and MS Office, especially Excel)
- You are rigorous, organized, autonomous, and have a strong ability to work in a team
- You are interested in a dynamic and constantly evolving field.
