The Protected Workshops Weizenkorn are a social enterprise. We offer over 300 adapted jobs and training positions mainly for young women and men who are temporarily or permanently impaired in their performance due to psychological or psychosocial reasons.
Our candle manufactory is a branch of the Weizenkorn Foundation. Approximately 2,000 quality candles are handmade here daily. To support our team in candle production, we are looking for a committed personality as Group Leader Candle Manufactory 100% from April 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Quantitative and qualitative responsibility for a work area of the candle manufactory
- Educational support, guidance, and promotion of a group of 7 to 10 employees at the supported workplace
- Supportive collaboration with the social service of the Weizenkorn Foundation
- Maintenance and upkeep of mostly self-built candle casting equipment
- Supervision of interns and civilian service workers
You bring with you:
- Completed training and experience in a craft profession
- Further education or experience in work pedagogy and in working with people with performance impairments
- Joy in the continuous development and improvement of the entire candle manufactory
- High quality awareness
- Warm, open, motivating, and communicative personality
- Good knowledge of German
- Christian confession of faith
