The candidate will be hired on a two-year contract which may be renewed for two successive periods, respectively two years and one year. The maximum duration of the assistant function is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period during which the employment relationship may be terminated with a three-month notice period for the end of a month.

Job description
Supervision tasks of students and research in the field of tax law with Prof. Xavier Oberson.The terms of reference include:
- Weekly reception, appointments with students, monitoring and grading of exams and/or continuous assessment, collaboration in the preparation of course materials (handouts, case studies, case corrections, etc.). The determination of the concerned teachings will be made each semester in agreement with the person in charge and in coordination with the other assistants.
- Research, proofreading, editorial work, participation and hosting of conferences.
- Preparation of support sessions.
- Usual administrative tasks.
Required degree and skills
- Master's degree in law from a Swiss university with a good overall average, or equivalent foreign degree.
- Interest in research and legal writing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in computer tools (notably Word and PowerPoint).
- Preference will be given to a candidate considering doing a thesis.
