- The OENT of SPCH is responsible for ensuring the viability and sustainability of the road network in the canton of Neuchâtel, guaranteeing and improving the safety of users as well as planning and carrying out road development and heavy maintenance work.
As part of your role within the OENT maintenance division 3, you ensure operational management as well as the supervision of a team of 18 people and coordinate roadworks including green space maintenance, snow removal, and salting.
Together with your team, you also carry out civil engineering and masonry work while contributing to the maintenance of watercourses and the structures surrounding them.
Occasionally, other tasks may complement your activity, including maintenance and work around the buildings used by the service.
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in the field of green spaces, civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification, you have at least 4 years of experience in team leadership.
A team leader certificate and proficiency in driving heavy vehicles are real assets for this position.
Additionally, you have a sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills.
Good physical condition is essential, with a medical examination planned before your employment.
You hold driving licenses B or BE, ideally complemented by a heavy vehicle license C or CE. If you do not yet have the latter, you are willing to obtain it during employment.
Finally, your residence is close to the workplace, allowing you to respond quickly if needed.
